Welcome to Sailing Chavurah!

"Chavurah" is a Hebrew word that describes a group of friends who come together to share a common interest. Our common interest is sailing the Chesapeake Bay , the largest estuary in the United States, stretching from the C&D Canal to Norfolk, VA. We welcome all Chesapeake Bay sailboat owners or those with an interest in promoting the purpose of Sailing Chavurah to join us!

Chavurah raftup
From April through October, we raft up in beautiful coves on weekends and on extended cruises. We also stay at local marinas and visit towns to enjoy the sights, shopping and dining. From November through March, we get together for a party and a Spring Fling weekend to keep our friendship going and to plan the next sailing season.
